| Entry Requirements: | No previous experience or qualifications needed. It is a requirement that you have not had any facial cosmetic surgery at least 6 weeks prior to the course. |
| Model Required: | Optional. Students are required to work on each other during practical sessions. However if you do not want to be worked on by other students, you will need to bring a model for the practical sessions. Please discuss this with us when booking your course. |

| Certification: | Diploma Certificate You will gain a fully accredited qualification at the end of this course, which will allow you to get professional insurance to work on paying clients from home or as a mobile facialist. | What can I do with this qualification: | This is the perfect qualification if you want to work as a home, mobile or freelance facial/skincare technician, with an agency or on a self- employed basis. Or, why not take the next step in your career and complete our VTCT Level 2 in Facial Skincare or Beauty Therapy qualifications (plus the mandatory VTCT Level 2 Infection Prevention for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services). This will allow you to work in salons and all area in the beauty industry. |
| How do I find work once I am qualified? | Once you have successfully completed your qualification, you can register to join our mobile beauty agency Beauty By LAB. We will help you to set up your business as a self-employed nail technician or beauty therapist and refer clients to you. You chose your hours and your clients. Email us for more information. | Do I need insurance to work: | Yes You will need to obtain public liability insurance before you can start work as a facial/skincare technician. We have great discounts on insurance purchased through Radius Insurance. Email us for more details. |
