| Entry Requirements: | No previous qualification or experience is required. However we do recommend that you complete the Diploma in Manicure/Pedicure before enrolling on this course. |
| Model Required: | Optional. Students are required to work on each other during practical sessions. However, if you do not want to be worked on by other students then you will need to bring a model for the practical sessions. Please discuss this with us when booking your course. |
| Kit Required: | No. We provide all materials you need to complete the course. |
| Optional Kit Content: | Available to buy, for use after the course. |
| Course Manual: | Free. Full training manual for use during and after the course. |
| Pre-Course Assessment: | Yes. This is a short multiple choice questionnaire, based on the reading materials you will receive when you book your course. Don’t worry as this can be re-taken as many times as you need, to ensure you successfully complete it before your course start date. |
| Certification: | Diploma Certificate. You will gain a fully accredited qualification at the end of this course, which will allow you to get professional insurance to work on paying clients. You will usually receive your diploma certificate at the end of your course (unless advised otherwise). |

| What can I do with this qualification: | This is the perfect qualification if you want to work as a mobile, freelance or home nail technician, with an agency or on a self- employed basis. Or, why not take the next step in your career and complete our VTCT Level 2 or 3 in Gel Polish or Nail Technology qualification. This will allow you to work in salons and all areas of the nail industry. |
| Do I need insurance to work: | Yes. You will need to obtain public liability insurance before you can start work as a nail technician. Additional Instructions
- You must be over the age of 16 before signing up for this training.
- You will need to remove any nail extensions and nail polish before you attend your course
- Towels are not provided. Please bring a small towel with you for your personal use during the course.
- Please note that if you are pregnant we recommend you wait until after the birth of your child before starting this course.
