Description

This Diploma in Manicure and Pedicure course will cover the different types of manicures and pedicures services that can be offered to clients. Manicures and pedicures are an essential skill to have as they forms the foundation for any nail service.

On this course you will learn how to provide a complete service to the natural nails as well as the more advanced hand and foot treatments such as paraffin wax and massages.

Plus approximately 4 hours of self-guided/home learning.

Entry Requirements:No previous experience or qualifications are needed.

Students are required to work on each other during practical sessions.

However, if you do not want to be worked on by other students then you will need to bring a model for the practical sessions.

Pre-Course Assessment:Yes.

This must be completed before you attend the course. The pre-course assessment consists of multiple choice questions, which are based on the reading materials you will receive when you book your course.

Don’t worry as this assessment can be re-taken as many times as you need, to ensure you successfully complete it before your course start date.

Certification:Diploma Certificate

You will gain a fully accredited qualification at the end of this course, which will allow you to get professional insurance to work on paying clients.

You will usually receive your diploma certificate at the end of your course (unless advised otherwise).

What can I do with this qualification:This is the perfect qualification if you want to work as a mobile, freelance or home nail technician, with an agency or on a self- employed basis.

Do I need insurance to work:Yes.

You will need to obtain public liability insurance before you can start work as a nail technician.   • You must be over the age of 16 before signing up for this training.
  • You will need to remove any nail extensions and nail polish before you attend your course
