Description
On the Diploma in Nail Sculpting course you will use nail forms to learn how to sculpture nails using both acrylics and UV gels. This intricate yet advanced treatment is suited to nail technicians who wants to further develop their skills. On completing the Diploma in Nail Sculpting using UV gels and acrylics, you will be able to sculpt an amazing set of acrylic and UV gel nails and offer this more advanced treatment to your clients.

| Model Required: | Optional. Students are required to work on each other during practical sessions. However, if you do not want to be worked on by other students then you will need to bring a model for the practical sessions. Please discuss this with us when booking your course. |

| Pre-Course Assessment: | Yes. This is a short multiple choice questionnaire, based on the reading materials you will receive when you book your course. Don’t worry as this can be re-taken as many times as you need, to ensure you successfully complete it before your course start date. |
| Certification: | Diploma Certificate. You will gain a fully accredited qualification at the end of this course, which will allow you to get professional insurance to work on paying clients. You will usually receive your diploma certificate at the end of your course (unless advised otherwise). |
| Optional Extras: | We recommend that you buy a kit for you to use after you have completed your course. Contact us to order your kit. |
| What can I do with this qualification: | This is the perfect qualification if you want to work as a mobile, freelance or home nail technician, with an agency or on a self- employed basis. Or, why not take the next step in your career and complete our VTCT Level 2 or 3 in Nail Technology qualification. This will allow you to work in salons and all areas of the nail industry. |
| Do I need insurance to work: | Yes You will need to obtain public liability insurance before you can start work as a nail technician. Additional Instructions
- You must be over the age of 16 before signing up for this training.
- You will need to remove any nail extensions and nail polish before you attend your course
- Towels are not provided. Please bring a small towel with you for your personal use during the course.
- If you are pregnant we recommend you wait until after the birth of your child before starting this course.
