Description
The Professional Diploma in Make Up course will provide you with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to work as a make-up artist. Using high quality products such as MAC, the Professional Diploma in Make Up is suitable for those with a basic understanding of makeup application. This course will give you an excellent platform to launch your career as a makeup artist or to perfect your techniques for a range of different looks.
We provide all the makeup needed to complete this course. However, you will need to bring a makeup brush set, a mascara and a small towel for your use personal during the practical sessions.
Students are expected work on each other during the practical sessions. If you do not wish to be worked on and prefer to bring a model, please contact us to discuss this before booking your course.
Post Qualification Assessment.
Once you have completed your training days, you will be required to create a day or evening look with contouring before your qualification can be awarded. This will be done at the end of the course (time permitting), or at home and images emailed to LAB for assessment.
You will gain an insurance approved, accredited qualification, which will allow you to get insurance to work on paying clients as a mobile/home makeup artist, or in a salon* (*dependent on the requirements of the local council).
A £50 admin fee is also payable when registering for this course.
